We are working with one of our clients who is well known in the tactical optics space. They have been growing rapidly and they are now looking for a seasoned retail sales leader to take the reins on key relationships in that space. This is a new position which was created to allowing their VP of Operations to move away from sales and focus on the business, so the growth opportunities here are high!
While this group is in with most the big names in this space, there is a lot of room for growth in those accounts. Someone who has had success in building outdoor product lines in retailers like Bass Pro and Sportsman’s Warehouse will be well suited to slide right into this position. Aside from direct retail leadership, this person would also be over the distributor partnerships that this company has. Someone who is strong in creating measurables, and ensuring vendor partners are delivering, is just what is needed in this role.
The exciting part about this position is the fact that this person will have an opportunity to fill white space in the market, leaning on the deep manufacturing capabilities that this group has. This company has an ownership tie to the factory which provides OEM parts for several brands in the space and so they can offer great prices coupled with top quality given the volume they work with.
