The Quality Control manager is responsible for the overall monitoring of component quality and process
during the manufacturing and assembly cycle. The manager will also be responsible for many areas of
ISO compliance and certification. The manager is responsible for working with management and staff to
design, implement, and monitor, quality control procedures and activities to ensure the highest quality
products possible.

General Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with all company policies and practices.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Manage company quality control process to company and ISO standards
  • Create and manage quality control procedures for all manufacturing operations
  • Maintain quality control records according to company and ISO standards
  • Perform scheduled inspections of parts in the manufacturing process
  • Identify quality issues and work with management on solutions
  • Track scrap and identify methods to reduce overall scrap rate
  • Manage inventory of quality control tooling and measuring devices
  • Conduct training with staff on quality procedures and methods

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical prints
  • Familiarity with quality control systems and procedures
  • Competence with micrometers, calipers, height gages, and other basic measuring
    devices
  • Ability to create, implement, and monitor quality control procedures
