We are working with a high-volume parts manufacturer focused on the firearms industry. We have
two machine shops, Oxnard, CA and Albany, MO with over 70 CNC machines. The Materials
Manager is primarily responsible for all purchasing, procurement, outside services, and vendor
management. This is a full time position at the Albany, Missouri facility.
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring supply levels of finished and unfinished goods, as well as general usage
items. - Sourcing and purchasing raw material and finished goods.
- Monitoring vendor performance and quality.
- Sourcing new vendors.
- Creating purchase orders for materials and services.
- Monitoring product flow through outside services.
- Travel to selected locations to inspect vendors.
- Travel to attend trade shows and other industry related events.
- Assist other departments as needed.
